Hey everyone! So, it was my birthday yesterday, and I got a couple of really cool presents that I would like to share!
The first are these amazing loafer flats by Betsey Johnson, they are so comfortable and cute, and I will definitely be wearing these to my interview today! I love the canvas outer layer and how it has some gold accents in it over the zebra print, I feel like it gives the shoes a fun feel while still being professional.
I also got this super cute Adidas briefcase bag, in this classic Adidas bright blue. I’ve been into Missy Elliot lately, and she is a wonderful spokesperson because she definitely helped me see Adidas in a new light. This bag is clean and casual, and can give my outfits the pop of color they need. It’s also the perfect size for my laptop and notebooks, and durable enough for me to take pretty much anywhere.

Here is a look that Gabi from GabiFresh put together in honor of colorblocking and pastels! I second her comment about these trends sometimes being too “frilly”, and I love the way she is able to rock the trend without frilling-it-up, and making it her own with a menswear inspiration. There is also a certain kind of edge that her snake-print clutch adds, along with her chunky bracelets and necklaces, one that says something like, ” Hi! I’m approachable, but don’t mess with me.”

Digging both of these outfits, but the one on the right is definitely more my style. I would love to be able to wear a crop top like that and not feel self-conscious. Baby steps! Her fresh pink lip color definitely helps lighten the mood of the whole outfit, isn’t it funny how just one thing can do that?
I got a second interview with J. Crew!
Oh yeah! Interview yeah!
(Now I just have to figure out what I am going to wear)

How amazing is this outfit! It’s fun but professional at the same time, and it looks so comfortable and clean. If I had walked into J. Crew wearing this no doubt I would have gotten the job. I need to step up my game.
